A lesson in excessiveness, the emirate of Dubai has once again outdone itself.

Above you see the “Leap of Faith” waterslide from the recently opened Atlantis The Palm Aquaventure waterpark. They call it the “Leap of Faith” because it converts you to Islam by the time you make it to the bottom. Pretty wild.

The Atlantis hotel is called “The Palm” because it’s built on the manmade island, Palm Jumeirah, which happens to be shaped like a palm tree. 

Did I mention that most of the slides in this waterpark, including the “Leap of Faith,”  shoot you through shark tanks?  Well the slides in this park shoot you through shark tanks.

Enfuego.
